Noosa can be divided into four main areas and this is important to consider when booking your Noosa accommodation:
We have a wide selection of Noosa hotels - check them out when making your holiday plans.
Noosa Heads comprises Hastings Street, Main Beach and the Noosa National Park. This is the heart of Noosa.
Hastings Street is a fashionable boulevard of colourful boutiques, elegant restaurants, casual cafes, luxury hotels and beachfront apartments.
If you choose to stay in Noosa Heads you will have easy access to Noosa Main Beach, one of the few north facing beaches on the east coast of Australia – ensuring sunshine all day long.
A beachside boardwalk connects pathways from Noosa Spit, through Noosa Woods, along Noosa Main Beach, and through to the Noosa National Park. It is a glorious walk through tropical shrubs and native trees, alongside luxury beachside apartments and white golden sands.
On the way to the National Park, the boardwalk runs alongside Park Road (an extension of Hastings Street). On Park Road you will find apartments overlooking the National Park and Laguna Bay. From Park Road it is just a short walk to the centre of Hastings Street, Main Beach and into the National Park.
Book your Noosa accommodation online. In Noosa Heads you can book apartments, hotels, resorts, motels and holiday homes.
Noosa Junction is just up the hill from Noosa Heads – about 1.5 kms. This was the original shopping area of Noosa and is still the place locals like to shop.
In Noosa Junction you will find surf shops, clothing stores, home-wares, arts and crafts, Coles and IGA supermarkets, fresh produce, cafes, restaurants and bars.
For entertainment there is the J Performing Arts Theatre (www.thej.com.au), Noosa Cinema (www.noosacinemas.com.au) and Noosa Heads Bowls Club (www.noosasports.com.au).

Most people visiting Noosa choose to stay either in Noosa Heads or Noosaville.
In Noosaville you will enjoy safe swimming along the river, a fabulous river foreshore and a host of water activities including fishing, sailing, kayaking, jet-skiing – all can be rented for an hour or for a day.
Noosaville is the start of many river cruises into the estuaries or back to Noosa Heads.
Gympie Terrace runs along the riverfront and is lined with restaurants, cafes, low-rise apartments and resorts. It is a place to stroll and relax with a coffee or delicious meal and enjoy the views of the river.
Away from the riverfront, Noosaville has a good shopping centre - Noosa Civic - where you will find Woolworths, Big W, banks, fashion, home wares, fast food outlets - all the major services and amenities you will need.

Noosa North Shore is a nature lover's paradise however if you are a first time visitor to Noosa, you may not choose to stay in that area of Noosa - it could be a bit far from the action. Access is by car ferry from Tewantin and it is advisable to have a 4WD vehicle to take advantage of all that Noosa North Shore has to offer.
Having said that, there is a bitumen road from the Noosa car ferry to the Noosa North Shore beaches.
There is excellent but limited accommodation on Noosa North Shore – an eco-inspired luxury retreat (Beach Road Holiday Homes), cabins, caravan and camping sites at Noosa North Shore Retreat Tourist Park, plus beachside camping at Sunshine Coast Holiday Parks – Noosa North Shore Beach Campground.
Noosa North Shore Resort has a restaurant, bar and corner store. However other dining and shopping options mean a trip on the car ferry (www.noosacarferries.com) back to Noosa.
Noosa North Shore would appeal to 4WD enthusiasts and those who love the natural things in life – fishing, swimming, kayaking, walking, horse riding, sailing.
Noosa North Shore is the gateway to the Cooloola section of the Great Sandy National Park, Teewah Coloured Sands and Double Island Point. There is also easy access to beautiful Lake Cooroibah.
Noosa is the place for a sophisticated getaway - a holiday destination where you can enjoy the very best of Qld's accommodation and hospitality.
