The Noosa Longweekend Festival kicks off today but it’s not too late to book accommodation in Noosa and join in the activities – the festival runs until Sunday 24 June. It’s here – Noosa’s International Food & Wine Festival will run for four days – from 17 to 20 May 2012. If you’re visiting Noosa in June, don’t miss the 35th annual One-Act Play Festival to be held at the Noosa Arts Theatre Inc, Noosa Heads from Thursday 7 June to Friday 15 June 2012.

This festival will showcase the 3 finalists chosen from 89 entries in the 2012 Noosa Arts Theatre National One-Act Playwriting Competition. This year’s festival will feature 2 comedies and 1 drama:

Three Angry Brides by Hugh O’Brien

The winner of the 2012 Best Play Award will be announced after the final performance on Saturday 16th June, together with the Audience Choice Award.
