Held over three days, the Ginger Flower & Food Festival features some of the Sunshine Coast's most popular chefs, authors, natural health, gardening and design experts. Enjoy cooking demonstrations, food tastings, garden walks and talks, live entertainment, etc.

Mooloolaba Triathlon Festival

The Mooloolaba Triathlon Festival is an end of season tradition, and what better way to see out another Australian summer than this festival long weekend.

Since the first Mooloolaba Triathlon in 1992 the event has grown to become the second largest triathlon in Australia behind its counterpart Noosa, which opens the triathlon season.

The Olympic distance (1.5km swim, 40km cycle, 10km run) Mooloolaba Triathlon is the centrepiece of a 3 day multisport festival that celebrates the best of the Australian summer lifestyle, at one of the world’s premier beachside resort locations.

The Noosa Longweekend is a festival of theatre, literature, music, dance, film, visual arts, cuisine and barrier-breaking forums - in one of Australia's most enviable destinations: Noosa Heads, Queensland.

Recognised as one of Australia's foremost regional cultural events, The Noosa Longweekend was launched in 2002 by a local group of creative visionaries wanting to blend their passions with the beautiful environment that is Noosa. The festival's founding members include prominent Australian playwright David Williamson, author Kristin Williamson, internationally renowned violinist Brett Dean, environmental activist Dr Michael Gloster, restaurateur Leonie Palmer-Fischer together with Rick Clayton and Ros McCauley.

The Noosa Longweekend presents a diverse program of events which, since its inception, has attracted some of the best Australian and international performers, writers, film-makers, musicians, artists, chefs, environmentalists and commentators.

The Real Food Festival is a celebration of the wonderful variety of food that Sunshine Coast producers, manufacturers and restaurants have to offer, and a brilliant way to talk, taste and buy from them. With stalls, demonstrations, discussions, hands-on and other activities throughout the weekend, the Festival has something for everyone and is a great way for people to support the best of Sunshine Coast regional food.

The 2015 Festival featured stalls showcasing local foods and related products, and was held from 9am-4pm at the Maleny Showgrounds, 13 Stanley Rd, Maleny.

The Tin Can Bay Seafood Festival is a fun filled day of food, music, kids activities, market stalls and seafood.

It's a great family day out on the Sunshine Coast between Noosa and Hervey Bay.

Tin Can Bay is about a 2 hour drive north of Noosa.

Caloundra Music Festival

2016 dates TBA (Last year was held 2-5 October 2015)

The annual Caloundra Music Festival is held in the heart of the Kings Beach tourist area.
The festival features the best of the Australian music industry as well as famous international artists. There will be a colourful street parade, roving performers, beach-side carnival, buskers, free kid's entertainment, food and market stalls.

Noosa Beach Classic Car Show 2016

Come and experience one of the best Classic car shows in Queensland at one of Australia's most famous destinations. Over $3,000 in trophies and prizes -see website for more details.

Over 250 cars of all ages and makes will be on display. Food, drinks and shuttle bus available. Marque of the year is Ford and this year will see some very rare and famous cars including entries from the Bowden Collection. This is a charity fundraising event held by the Noosa Beach Classic Car Club which has donated over $170,000 to local charities and worthy causes.

Time: Gates open 8.30am-2.30pm.

Spectator Entry: $10 adults, children free.

Australian Body Art Festival

The Australian Body Art Festival is Australia’s premier body art event and attracts artists and spectators from Australia and overseas.

Held in Eumundi, this year's theme is "Pop Trashion". Don't miss seeing the 'human canvasses'.

Entertainment for the whole family includes music, street performers, exhibitions of pavement art, wearable art, vehicle art and photography.

The Noosa Triathlon Multi Sport Festival is steeped in rich history and uniqueness not matched anywhere in the world. The festival is brought together with an irresistible mix of sport and entertainment coupled with sun, sea and surf in one of Australia's most popular destinations. The week-long festival of swimming, cycling, running, triathlon events for everyone from 7 - 80+ years, two golf tournaments (celebrity and corporate), massive sport and lifestyle expo, corporate / VIP facilities and a serious after party you'll also need to train for.

The highlight of the festival is the triathlon which draws 5,500 triathletes each year to the Olympic-distance course (1.5km swim, 40km cycle, 10km run). The Noosa Tri is the 3rd largest triathlon in the world only surpassed by London and Chicago.
